Trademark royalty rates sector snapshot: Trade names in the temporary staffing sector show median royalty rates of 1.3% on net sales. The percentage of profits that comes from the trade name asset (profit split) is 11.2%. Little more than one half of trade names in the sector have finite remaining useful lives, averaging 8.8 years. The value of customer relations in temporary staffing is more than twice that of trade names. Most important asset is goodwill, with 42% of enterprise value.
